DeJarnette Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1949 by Harry DeJarnette as an independent insurance agency with one location on Stage Coach Road in Nathalie, VA.  In 1967, another agency was purchased and a second location was added on Main Street in Brookneal, VA.  The agency is still owned and operated by the same family with Vickie DeJarnette Barker being the present owner.
